I am a Research Agricultural Economist for the USDA Economic Research Service in the Rural Economy Branch. My primary fields are energy and natural resource economics.

My research focuses on the intersections of energy abundance and local economies with an emphasis on (i) wind energy and land use and (ii) economic outcomes from energy booms and busts.
